The Public Information and Communication Services III contract vehicle offers Institutes and Centers at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) communications and outreach; graphic design; web and database; materials development and distribution; and exhibit support.

The mission of PICS III is to achieve and maintain high quality performance in the areas of media, communication, information dissemination and technology. PICS III is the vehicle OLAO uses to solicit superior communications services, especially where this expertise does not exist in-house.

Fast Facts About PICS III

  • PICS III 101: PICS III is a multiple award Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract vehicle with a period of performance of five (5) years. The contract vehicle is effective as of December 16, 2024 and will expire on December 15, 2029.

  • Supporting Small Business: Contracts were awarded to a select group of small business vendors. PICS III vendors are all small businesses that can team with larger vendors to perform the work required.
